The Kansas City Southern Railway and Kansas City Southern de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. Consolidated Weekly Performance Report
Beginning March 28, 2008, the following changes were made to KCSR’s reporting: (1) Train Speed, Terminal Dwell, and Cars on Line include both KCSR and KCSM as consolidated measurements; and (2) Terminal Dwell will be reported for the following KCSM locations: Monterrey, NL; Nuevo Laredo, TM; San Luis Potosi, SL; and Sanchez, TM. Data have been restated on a comparable basis back to January 4, 2008, where possible.
One railroad's performance metrics cannot meaningfully be compared to another railroad's,
due to differences in the carriers' calculation methodologies, operational strategies, network
characteristics, terrain, traffic mix and volume, length of haul, extent of passenger operations,
and other factors such as weather. |
